About The Coaching Staff
Head Coach: Todd Miller
Todd began his journey as Head Coach at Pine Creek High School in 2002. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University where he played linebacker. Since that time he has led the team to four State Championships (’13, ’14, ’16, ‘19), 16 League championships, 6 Final Fours, and two State Runner-Up finishes. He currently serves as the Offensive Coordinator for Pine Creek and teaches Physical Education. Todd and his wife Jill have three children.
Defensive Coordinator: Matt Wibbels
Matt, a graduate from the University of Nebraska - Kearney where he played Safety, joined the Pine Creek football staff in 2010. Since that time he has held several roles, including Defensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach. Matt and his wife, Angie, have two children who both graduated from Pine Creek High School. His son Jack was a defensive end on the ’13 and ’14 State Championship teams. In addition to the Bachelor’s degree he earned at the University of Nebraska – Kearney, Matt also has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. In addition to coaching after school, during the school day you’ll find Matt coordinating Pine Creek’s Professional Learning late start mornings as well as teaching psychology and history.
