Head Coach: Janean Jubic
Pine Creek High School head coach Janean Jubic came to PCHS with six years of collegiate coaching experience at the Division I & II Levels. She coached at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado State University (CSU) Pueblo and Colorado Christian University (CCU). During her time coaching, the teams had three NCAA Tournament appearances, 12 Honor Roll players, 2 All-Academic players, 12 All- All-Conference players including five conference Players of the Year, and one National Championship.
In addition to her coaching experience, Coach Jubic played collegiate basketball for four years at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) and was RMAC Honor Roll- 2007-2010. She also played one year of collegiate softball at UCCS and one year of collegiate golf at CCU. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business-Finance with minors in International Business and Leadership Studies from UCCS and a Masters in Business Administration-Corporate Training.
Coach Jubic is very close to her family, which includes her parents, Lorraine and John Jubic of Pueblo West, and her brother, Sean. She married her wife Haleigh in 2022, has a goldendoodle named Oia that she spends time with regularly, and enjoys fishing, camping, hunting, and playing golf.

Assistant Coach, Joey Fillo
Coach Fillo has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University and joined the Pine Creek staff in 2017. Since then, he has taught PE/health and coached the Pine Creek Boys Golf Team and Pine Creek Girls Golf Team in varying degrees, and absolutely loves it!
Golf has been Coach Fillo's lifelong passion and he has been playing the sport for years. “We have such wonderful student-athletes!” Coach Fillo remarked. “Golf is a great game that can be played a lifetime and that teaches important lessons.”
