Our Program
Pine Creek’s Choirs have built a reputation of excellence within our community. Our mission is to educate student musicians to read and perform music at an advanced level while developing their lifelong passion for music. There are numerous award-winning choirs at Pine Creek, including: Treble Choir, Tenor-Bass Choir, Chamber Singers, Festival Singers, and three of our Acappella choirs – Fusion, Mosaic, and Nuance!

Our Non-Audition Choirs
Our Treble Choir and Tenor-Bass Choir do not require an audition. These two choirs are open to freshmen as well as anyone wanting to sing in a traditional choir without the need for an audition. With that said, if fewer than 20 singers enroll in Tenor-Bass Choir, those singers will be included into Chamber Singers and may be asked to audition.
Our Audition Choirs
Choirs that require an audition are Chamber Singers, Festival Singers, and three of our Acappella choirs (Fusion, Mosaic, and Nuance). Sophomores, juniors, and seniors who would like to join one of these auditioned choirs must go through an audition process. The audition includes a vocal evaluation, rhythmic and melodic sight reading, singing scales and triads, singing intervals, and identifying intervals.
Auditions are generally held in annually March so that rosters can be determined for the following school year. However, there is always room for more singers! Contact Mr. Jeppson if you are interested in auditioning or have questions about the audition process.

Colorado All-State Choir
Students enrolled in Festival Singers will audition for Colorado All-State Choir as part of their course work, however, these auditions are open to all juniors or seniors in our program. To learn more about Colorado All- State Choir visit www.aschoir.com.

August 2022: our award-winning a cappella groups performed at the Black Forest Parade and Community Celebration
November 2022: Chamber Singers performed at the D20 Choral Festival under the direction of Dr. Kyle Fleming
February 2023: 15 singers from Pine Creek performed with Colorado All-State Choir
April 2023: Festival Singers received highest honors at CHSAA Large Group Festival
May 2023: Festival Singers and A Cappella Groups toured performing at local schools and businesses
