Talon Yearbook Makes Waves

This Year's Tagline

Being ever-aware of the people, events, and activities that are actively shaping Pine Creek, Talon's editorial staff initially saw the tagline of, "Making Waves" as being a way to honor the addition of our new pool. However, it didn't take long before deeper meanings behind the phrase began to take shape.

"Each student can make a difference, or 'waves,' wherever they go!" commented member of the editorial staff, Oliver Cecil ('26). While crafting this year's book, the group enjoyed experimenting with design choices such as physical waves and other modifications that would signify big changes students have made.

"The book is not only a celebration of those who are change-makers but a call to action to step outside of your comfort zone and make some waves," commented Yearbook Advisor Jo Powell.

Questions to Consider

• In addition to making waves externally, how do we make changes or waves in our own lives?

• How do we step beyond our comfort zone and challenge ourselves to do something brave?

Yearbook Signing

• Seniors will receive their Yearbooks on Thursday, May 9th, at Senior Sunset, 6:30pm - 8:30pm. | Order a Yearbook

• Yearbook Signing for Underclassmen will take place during EagleFest the afternoon of Friday, May 10th. | Order a Yearbook
