About This Certification

The Adobe Premiere Pro Certification gives students the opportunity to earn credentials in digital video. Topics covered include working in the video industry, project set up, organizing video projects, creating and modifying visual elements, and publishing digital media.

Reflections on the Process

Adobe recommends 150 hours of instructions and hands-on experience with Premiere Pro and relevant career concepts before taking the exam. Jacob, who indicated that he is primarily interested in creating videos as a hobby for gaming at this point, said the preparation process was fairly straightforward. In addition to taking the practice tests, Jacob recommends students find small video projects in their own lives to apply the concepts to in order to solidify their learning.

After having passed the exam, Jacob is excited to be able to add this certification to his resume and for the opportunity to expand his resume as he puts the certification to use. What's next? Possibly a certification in Adobe After Effects.

Go, Eagles!
