The team started Thanksgiving Break with a win over Grandview in the quarter finals which catapulted them to one of the Final Four teams left in the 5A Football Bracket! Saturday, November 26th, the team lost in their semi-final game against Cherry Creek. Read more about the game.
Although the final score may not have been what was desired, our team’s talent, sportsmanship, and class not only made a noteworthy impression in the game against Cherry Creek, but throughout the season as well. In a Tweet last Saturday Luke Zahlmann, Preps Editor for the Colorado Springs Gazette, summed it up by saying, “Eagles’ season ends in the 5A semifinals to a team that’ll be hard for anyone to beat. If nothing else, Pine Creek proved it belongs in 5A.”
Thank you to the coaches that have continued to uphold and expand a culture of excellence for players, families, and our community to lean into. Your representation of Pine Creek High School as you've tried something new on a very public stage this fall has made us proud!
