A Stand-Out at District Events

Members of the Trombone Danger Zone welcomed teachers back the Back to School Rally for ALL staff members in D20 on August 10th. As if this crew’s performance on one side of the field weren’t enough, upon completion of set one, the band ran -- yes, RAN… with instruments… under the heat of the morning sun -- across the D20 Stadium so that they could repeat the performance for those seated on the other side. The act was so surprising to a videographer covering the event that she later commented, “I thought, ‘Are they going to the (other side)?’ … Ok, we’re goin’!“ before racing after them to continue covering their performance. And who wouldn’t?

Leaders in the Community

The Saturday after the Back to School Rally our Eagle Pride Marching Band performed at the Black Forest Festival, providing the audience with the opportunity to dance to “Hooked on a Feeling” as well as tunes from this year’s halftime show.

Making Music an Essential Piece of Pine Creek Culture

The following Monday Pine Creek a group of jazz musicians performed at the welcome assembly for Freshmen on August 14th and the entire Band rocked the first all-school assembly of the year on August 15th.
