Congratulations to our two runners who represented Pine Creek at the 5A CHSAA Colorado State Championship meet!
Emma Wilhelm
Emma Wilhelm completed her Senior cross country season by running an outstanding time of 18:21, placing 11th in the 5A race! This equals Emma's finishing place from last year, but is even more impressive given that this year's race was among the most competitive in the country. This is also the second fastest time ever run by a Pine Creek female athlete on the State course, second only to Heather Bates' 18:16 which won the state meet in 2012.
Gabe Rial
In the boys 5A division, Gable Rial ran 16:58 to place 77th among the 152 runners in the race, a fine showing for his first trip to the state meet!
