About This Accomplishment
Girls Basketball Coach, Janean Jubic, hit her 100th career win on Monday night at the game against Fountain-Fort Carson! Coach Jubic has been the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Pine Creek since 2016.
This celebration was about more than the victories on the scoreboard, though. Behind the team's 100 wins are the countless hours Coach Jubic has put into shaping hundreds of players into successful young women and to teaching the importance of teamwork, discipline and resilience, both on the court and off.
"There have been moments of triumph and, lets be real, a fair share of nail biting, edge-of-the-seat, close-call games. But through it all, Coach Jubic remained our steady captain, guiding us with your expertise, passion, and never-ending enthusiasm," a colleague commented.
For all the the late-night strategy sessions, the pep talks that fired up the team, and the endless drills that helped our female basketball players hone their craft, we are thankful to a coach who makes champions out of us all.
