About the Performance
In a performance that modeled excellence in music production as both an art and a science, the Pine Creek Chamber Orchestra brought passion, elegance, and sophistication of technical skill to the stage as they performed at the Colorado ASTA (American String Teachers Association) State Festival Thursday afternoon!
The group's diligence to mastery of individual craftsmanship in tandem with a commitment to cohesion was evident not only to the audience, but also to the judges from whom they received the highest rating possible: A Superior.
"Beautiful sound!" one judge commented. "Very musical and expressive. Lots of colors, good rhythm, dynamics. Bravo!"
Orchestral Program Expansion
Pine Creek currently has two orchestras -- String Orchestra (non-audition) and Chamber Orchestra (audition). Next the the program will expand to include an auditioned, mid-level orchestra.
