Pathways and Career Academies","These programs are generally a sequence of two or more themed courses within a specific career or industry. Program courses build upon each other and are taken in sequence. “Shop class” or “vocational education” classes of the past may come to mind when thinking of a CTE program, however, this is a very outdated view of modern CTE.","\u003Ch2>CTE Programs\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cp>CTE programs are standards-aligned courses that focus on education and apply rigorous and relevant academics, employability, and technical skills. If your student wants to pursue a career in automotive technology, engineering, medical fields, technology, business, etc., there is a pathway for them! \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Through these programs, students learn skills for entry into well-paid careers and\u002For post-secondary college and university programs.
