Hi!  My name is Steve Errickson and I am the Building Tech Coordinator at PCHS.  I began my career as a high school educator in 2000 after I graduated from Virginia Tech.

From 2000 to 2001, I worked as a
Business and Information Technology teacher at Louisa County High School - Mineral, Virginia and then was employed in the same capacity from 2001-2007 at Falls Church High School - Falls Church, Virginia.

Business and Information Technology allowed me to gain experience in a variety of activities and subjects.  I've taught courses such as computer programming, law, management, accounting, and information systems.  I served as a department chair, a website curator, an IT support staffer, and a study hall/detention coordinator.  I was also an FBLA advisor.

Then in 2009, I graduated from the University of Dayton, Ohio with an MS in Educational Leadership.  Two months after graduation, we uprooted our family and moved to Germany for the next six years!  During this time, I completed my Ohio professional principal licensing at Ramstein High School, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.  In addition, I served our four children as a fulltime stay-at-home dad.  Living in Europe allowed me opportunities to travel dozens of countries, as well as volunteer at the preschool and elementary school levels, in addition to interning at Ramstein High.  In 2015, we decided to relocate once again, this time to Colorado - for a new adventure!

Since moving to Colorado, I've earned my initial K-12 principal license as well as my 7-12 professional teaching license, with endorsements in business, technology, and instructional technology.  I look forward to supporting and teaching the staff and students of Pine Creek High School, and am excited to be back in the content area where it all began for me!
