Summer iPad Checkout​


Summer Checkout Details: 


Pine Creek students in grades 9-11 may check out their school iPads and keep them over the summer. Students who keep their iPads will be able to renew their checkouts online and save time during Check-in at the Creek in August! There is no additional cost for the summer check-out.


Seniors must turn in their iPads to the Tech Office before May 9, 2019.


Underclassmen who are NOT participating in Summer Checkout must turn in their iPads to the Tech Office by May 20, 2019.


Reminders

    • What You Are Responsible For: The responsibilities for appropriate care and use apply over the summer. If you would like to review those expectations, please see the Student Handbook.

    • iPad Fee: The 2019-20 iPad user fee ($50) will be due on or before check-in day in August and that fee, combined with the online 2019-20 Handbook Agreement, will serve as the fall check-out renewal.

Summer Service & Support


The iPad is property of Academy School District 20. If you need service or support, or if the iPad is damaged over the summer, contact the District 20 Help Desk. Do not take the iPad to the Apple store or any other retailer or support center.


Sometimes plans change unexpectedly. If you move or transfer schools, contact the Help Desk to turn in the iPad, case, cable & charger before moving. The iPad is property of the school district.

If the device is lost or stolen, file a police report and contact the D20 Help Desk immediately.


To complete a police report: Click here or go to the city's web page (coloradosprings.gov) go to the police tab under Public Safety and then click on "report a crime."

How to Check-Out an iPad for the Summer

  1. Parents must login to the Extended Parent Portal
  2. Select your student's name from the drop-down menu. If you have more than one Pine Creek student, you will need to complete this process for each student.
  3. Go to the Agreements page
  4. Go to Summer iPad Checkout and select the Yes option.
  5. Click Submit.

What You Are Agreeing To: Your electronic signature on the Summer iPad Checkout verifies that you have read and understand the expectations, rules, and responsibilities of having a school-issued iPad. The deadline to check out an iPad for the summer is Friday, May 3. All other iPads must be turned in to the Tech Office week of May 20.
