The Passage of Leadership

In the words of British author Simon Sinek, "Leadership is not about being in charge. Leadership is about taking care of those in your charge."

On Monday, May 13th the Pine Creek Student Body and faculty gathered to celebrate the Class of 2019 one last time as well as to formally pass the role of leadership to the Class of 2020.

Pine Creek's accapella group, Fusion, kicked off the event by singing of the National Anthem after which they led brief crowd-pleasing sing-along that attendees commented was, "So good! So good! So good!"

Some of those honored from the Class of 2019 included the Valedictorian and Salutatorian, recipients of the Flight of the Eagle award, and the Pine Creek male and female athlete of the year (note: list not all-inclusive).

After the Passage of Leadership had taken place, students and staff participated in EagleFest, a community celebration involving sandpit volleyball and other lawn games, yearbook signing, a visit from the Josh and John's Scoop Bus, and more.

Go, Eagles!
