As a long standing tradition, sixth grade students have the opportunity to attend High Trails each year. High Trails is an outdoor education opportunity centered around middle school curriculum related to ecology, history, conservation, geology and astronomy as well as promoting a sense of community, self, earth and wonder. Due to the current reality caused by COVID-19 and in an effort to ensure the safety and health of students and staff, Academy District 20 has made the decision to cancel High Trails for the 2020-21 school year. This was a very difficult decision as we know the value this experience has for our students; however, we must remain vigilant in following health and safety guidelines.
