Pine Creek High School is a four-year, comprehensive, public high school and one of three Schools of Innovative Learning and Technology (SILT) in Academy School District 20. Since opening in 1998, Pine Creek has been building a culture of excellence. Eagle Pride is apparent in all we do, from our competitive academic programs, to our championship athletic teams, and our award-winning arts, music, and business programs.
As the district's technology-strand high school, our students and teachers have open access to a variety of technological advancements. Pine Creek is an iPad 1:1 school. Our students use their iPads to research, complete homework assignments, and create multi-media projects for their classes. This seamless integration of technology into the learning experience is just one of the hallmarks of our school.
Pine Creek is a John Irwin School of Excellence (awarded to the top 8% of schools in the state based upon student achievement). We offer approximately 20 different AP courses, as well as a variety of honors courses. In 2017, 1045 AP exams were administered at Pine Creek, with a 71% pass rate! We are very proud of these academic successes and are committed to providing support to all students, including those who may be struggling in the classroom. Pine Creek has numerous interventions programs and opportunities for students to get assistance in their classes, including our Eagle Hours program (before and after school). If you would like to learn more about the courses we offer, check out our Course Guide.
