Business Department and PCHS DECA
DECA is much more than a business club - it is a marketing and entrepreneurship program. The four points of the DECA diamond represent DECA's guiding principles and the polished leaders DECA prepares. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. In DECA, you have the opportunity to attend conferences and compete in different locations across the country. Being in DECA gives you job experiences and skills that you can bring into the real world. To be in DECA, you must be enrolled in a Marketing Course which you can begin taking sophomore year. DECA prepares the next generation of leaders to be: Academically Prepared, Community Oriented, Professionally Responsible, Experienced Leaders.
